Dave McSavage to host comedy show in celebration of Jonathan Swift
Dave McSavage will host a unique comedy line-up this winter in celebration of Ireland's legendary satirist, Jonathan Swift.
The show titled Swift Laughs will feature the country's finest comedians including Kevin McGahern, Hannah Mamalis, John Colleary & Aine Gallagher.
Despite a busy schedule preparing for a new Irish tour in 2019 and being selected by George Clooney to be part of his new World War II series, Catch 22, McSavage is taking the time out to host the birthday celebrations, commenting:
“It’s Jonathan Swift’s birthday party and everyone is invited! Swift is most famous for using satire and comedy to poke fun and challenge those in power, we hope to tickle a few funny bones while ruffling a few feathers all in one go,” McSavage said in advance of the event.
On the night, audience members can expect a party-atmosphere along with top-notch entertainment from Ireland's best comics.
Swift Laughs will take place in Smock Alley Theatre, Friday, November 30 at 8pm as part of the Jonathan Swift Festival.
Tickets priced at €20 can be purchased from the festival's website: www.jonathanswiftfestival.ie
