Billy Connolly, Robert Sheehan, Malaki & Tolu Makay to appear on The Late Late Show
The 'Ireland's Fittest Family' coaches and author John Boyne are also set to make an appearance this week.
The line-up for this week’s Late Late Show has been revealed, with comedy Legend Billy Connolly and acclaimed actor Robert Sheehan set to take the stage.
Scottish superstar Billy Connolly will join Ryan Tubridy from Florida, as the Glasgow native looks back and reflects on his five decades in comedy.
Ireland's Fittest Family coaches Anna Geary, Davy Fitzgerald, Derval O'Rourke and Donncha O’Callaghan will be chatting with Ryan as the hit show returns to RTÉ on October 31st. Among other things, the four will explain how their on-screen rivalry has found its way into their real lives.
The Umbrella Academy's Robert Sheehan, also known for his roles on Misfits and The Mortal Instruments, will join the show to talk about growing up in Portlaoise, writing a short-story collection despite his struggles with English at school, and retaining his midlands accent.
Author John Boyne, the man behind The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The Heart's Invisible Furies and The Echo Chamber, will discuss his career and rise to success. Boyne will also be discussing his writing process, the stories behinds his books, and what inspires him to keep writing.
Tolü Makay and Malaki will be debuting their brand new single 'The Light' with a live performance on the show. Previously this year artists made an appearance on our very own Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series.
This week's show will also be welcoming the largest audience since the Covid-19 restrictions were introduced back in May of last year, with 100 audience members in attendance.
