Bill Murray appears on Irish radio while filming golf show in Bellmullet
The veteran actor discussed his affinity for Ireland and, of course, his golf game.
Legendary actor Bill Murray made a special appearance on Irish radio this week as he travels the country filming The Links Life, a golf show on YouTube with author Tom Coyne.
Joining the Ray D'Arcy Show while on a minibus to Bellmullet, the Ghostbusters and Caddyshack star chatted to broadcaster Kathryn Thomas about Ireland and golfing amongst other topics.
"We talked about it a lot and we felt like so many Irish were forced to emigrate to America that we should try to return the favour and get some people coming back," Murray explained.
"Some of these people are going to be your problem in just a matter of days.
"We've got four of my six - now five - brothers are here. Three of my six sons are here, three of my five nephews are here, one of my brothers-in-law."
Pressed on his golf game, he joked, "You don't ask someone, like, how much money they earn, or are you seeing anyone else."
"But how good? I'm good enough. I was better, and yesterday I was not so good, but then late yesterday I became quite a bit better."

He then passed the phone over to former American Poet Laureate Billy Collins, who then read his poem No Time on air.
"I can't tell you how lucky you are to have the Poet Laureate of the United States Billy Collins read a poem for you - and how lucky you are that he read a short one! That was the Lord's mercy! There's a gentle rain of praise falling upon you, all of us, for that."
Bill Murray will star alongside Saoirse Ronan in the upcoming Wes Anderson movie, The French Dispatch, out this October.
