Watch the Trailer for ‘The Romanoffs’: the New Show from ‘Mad Men’s Matthew Weiner

"Three continents. Seven countries. Eight stories. One family?"

The Romanoffs surrounds eight different people, all of whom believe that they are descendants of the infamous Russian royals. The show will be Amazon Prime’s first anthology series.

Each story takes place in a new location with a new cast. The first and second episodes, ‘The Violet Hour’ and ‘The Royal We,’ will air on October 12th. ‘The Violet Hour’ stars Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Ines Melab and Louise Bourgoin.

This is the latest show from Weiner, who is best known for his writing and producing on The Sopranos and Mad Men. Joining Weiner on The Romanoffs, are his Mad Men stars Emmy Award-nominated Christina Hendricks and John Slattery.
