Track of The Day: Adam Garrett – 'Casual'
This is Garrett's second release with fledgling indie label andfriends Records.
Though Adam Garrett has been buzzing around the Dublin music scene for a while – you can usually find him playing with jazz-funk trio INNRSPACE or writing and producing for Nealo – the multi-instrumentalist caught our attention with his last single, 'Don't Keep Up'.
Now, the musician is back with 'Casual', his second release on andfriends Records. A 70's-inspired offering about the woes of mordern dating, the track marries Garrett's sparse and simple vocal with neon-dipped synths and a disco-lite bass line.
