Irish based music discovery platform blankbar is bringing PU$$YRAP PRESENTS: IRISHPU$$Y to the Wigwam Basement on Friday July 21.
The event will be hosted by Texas' Jody Simms, founder of PU$$SYRAP on NTS radio - a show that gives an international platform to up and coming women and in Hip-Hop.
The show is PU$$YRAP's Irish debut, the lineup includes Jody Simms herself, UK artists SHADEDBYNATURE and BBYAMAZON as well as Ireland’s very own DJ Shaz and Big Cheeks.
The programme is held in collaboration with Dublin-based THRUST Collective's 'Lughnasa' themed day party, taking place in Phase Space Studio in Rathgar next Friday to mark the beginning of the harvest season.

A BYOB event, attendees can expect immersive visual art exhibitions, live performances and sets from Púca Púca, Mooncup and Florbit. THRUST have gained a reputation for their themed parties including events inspired by the Celtic Tiger, Braywatch and Bebo.
The gatherings have been described, in the organiser’s own words, as “Irish swampcore siren meets culchie chic...if the Met Gala ever did a ploughing championships theme.”
The Lughnasa party in Rathgar will take place from 4-10pm, while the entertainment at Wigwam on Abbey Street will go on from 11pm until late.
The two have come together to deliver a day-to-night event that celebrates culture, diversity and inclusivity in the hottest way possible.
Tickets to both events can be bought here. Attendees of THRUST’s Lughnasa day party will receive a special offer discount for the PU$$SYRAP event.
