This week's Late Late Show lineup is announced
The Late Late Show will feature cast members from Agnes Browne, John Bercow, Freya McClements, Joe Duffy, Bernard O'Shea, Jamie Heaslip, and musical guest Sibeal Ni Chasaide.
It's been 20 years since Agnes Browne first graced our screens, and tonight on the Late Late Show, Ryan Tubridy will be joined by a host of guests in celebration of the movie's anniversary. Brendan O'Carroll, who wrote the novel The Mammy, which served as the basis for the movie, will join Tubridy, alongside cast members Jennifer Gibney who played Winnie the Mackerel, Eilish O'Carroll, and Danny O'Carroll to discuss the legacy of Mrs. Brown's Boys.
Friday night's show will also feature a performance from Mrs Brown's Boys D'Musical, which plays at Dublin's 3Arena for three nights from 13-15 December.
The Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, will have his first ever Irish interview on this week's show.
Freya McClements and Joe Duffy will also join Tubridy to discuss their new book, Children of the Troubles. The book, published yesterday, named nine children who were never publicly acknowledge as victims of the Troubles and claimed that republicans were responsible for 43% of children's deaths, Loyalists 27%, and the British army and RUC 26%.
Comedian and radio host Bernard O'Shea will also discuss his new book, My Wife is Married to a Feckin' Eejit, which explores his marriage to his wife, Lorna and the ongoing crises he regularly puts her and their three small children through.
And former Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip will weigh in on the run-up to tomorrow's match against Samoa in Japan, playing for Joe Schmidt, the impending typhoon, and – of course – his own career.
Singer Sibeal Ni Chasaide is set to perform 'Blackbird' by The Beatles as the musical guest this week.
The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One, Fridays at 9:35PM.
