'Thank you, Ireland' festival in Howth to be held in support of Ukraine
All money from ticket sales will go to the Association of Ukrainians in Ireland.
Ukrainian cultural festival 'Thank you, Ireland' is set to be held at Howth Castle on September 17th.
The event aims to give Ukrainians the opportunity to showcase their art and talent and to offer thanks to Ireland for its powerful support of the nation and its refugees.
The festival will see performances from both Irish and Ukrainian artists. The Irish performers include Leslie Dowdall, Maria Butterfly, Eleanor McEvoy, Eleanor Shanley & John Feeley and Mundy. Ukrainian artists featured include Vopli Vidoplyasova, Sergiy Babkin, Dantes Alina Pash, Kola, Pianoboy, Quest Pistols and more.
This is a family friendly event, with face painting, clowns, magicians, workshops and a mini zoo. There will be food vendors serving traditional Ukrainian dishes. There will also be performances by Ukrainian children who received shelter from the war in Ireland.
The festival will run from 12pm to 10pm on Saturday the 17th. All money from ticket sales go to The Association of Ukrainians in Ireland.
