Tara Stewart releases '100 Deadly Mná' playlist on Spotify
Featuring Tolü Makay, Rosie Carney, Soulé, Biig Piig and more.
To celebrate women in Irish music, RTÉ 2 FM DJ Tara Stewart has created a massive playlist of deadly tunes from women in Irish music.
Ringing in at over seven hours, the playlist goes to show that there is no shortage of incredible female talent in this country. It features artists like Lisa Hannigan, Saint Sister, Hot Press Hot for 2020 acts Carrie Baxter and Joy Crookes, as well as Orla Gartland, Denise Chaila and Powpig, among many others.
Announcing the playlist on Twitter, Tara wrote: "These are some of my favourite, there are actually over 100 and I'm of course open to adding more so if I've missed anything feel free to send over suggestions x".
It also spans nearly every genre under the sun, so there is bound to be something for everyone. Listen below.
