Sinead Delahunty Cooks Up A Storm At Theatre of Food
A nutritious treat for when you're on the go.
The Theatre of Food comes alive at the Electric Picnic Festival!
Sinead Delahunty, author of cookbook Delalicious: A Full Plate for a Full Life , welcomes a packed out audience whilst demonstrating her recipe for her Creamy Apricot and Almond Turkey dish.
Delahunty mixes raising, apricots and almonds with a creamy sauce (made up of creme de fraiche and milk), combining it with tender turkey pieces. As the sizzling sweet aroma fills the tent, Delahunty explains her love of simple food. Many of her recipes can be pulled together based off the foods which are leftover in the everyman's cupboard. It's all about accessibility.
As the finished dish sparkles with colour, Delahunty explains how it can easily be frozen for long periods of time and used throughout the week.
Good news for sports players! The dish is also anti-inflammatory and is perfect for sports enthusiasts who are constantly on the go.
Delalicious: A Full Plate for a Full Life can be purchased in any good book store.
