Robyn Releases New Single Honey
Swedish singer Robyn has returned with her first new single since her 2010 album Body Talk.
An early version of 'Honey' was used in the 2017 finale of the hit US TV show Girls but the official, finalized version was finally released yesterday, Wednesday 27th September. The track is the first off Robyn's new album of the same name which features 9 brand new songs set to be released on October 26th.
The success of her 7th studio album Body Talks was groundbreaking and featured hits including 'Dancing On my Own' and 'Show Me Love', which paved the way for pop music to come. Though the singer performed periodically since then, 'Honey' is Robyn's first new release in eight years.
Speaking of the new album the 39 year old singer said “I feel like what’s different about it, maybe, is that there is this sensuality and a softness to it that maybe wasn’t there before in the same way.”
