PREMIERE: Fya Fox shares alt-pop anthem 'Body'
The irresistibly catchy tune will be available on all streaming platforms on February 19.
Hot Press is delighted to premiere 'Body', the second single from rising Irish act Fya Fox. The alternative anthem comes from an exciting new artist keen on pushing the boundaries of traditional pop music.
Fox is inspired by sparse electronic pop, and pairs this inspiration with emotional lyrics. A classically trained vocalist, she's intrigued by the ways in which her influences – ranging from Banks to London Grammar to Lana Del Rey – fuse their vocals with electronic elements, while retaining an organic element.
Her debut release, ‘White Lies', was ecstatically-received across the country, garnering the young artist extensive radio play in both Ireland and the UK. ‘Body’ is looking to be just as explosive for Fox, having been added to the BBC Radio Ulster ‘Where Music Matters’ February playlist, among many other coveted slots. It's bound to catapult Fox into the realm of Irish superstars.
