Playlist: Carty's Golden Hour #8

I did a few (four) radio spots this week, promoting the latest issue of the world's greatest cultural periodical. I can't begin to describe to you how distressing it is to hear your own voice played back, only to realise that you never lost that flat midlands accent - an accent which reflects the low, lying landscape that begat it -  forever identifying from whence you came. Not that I've any problem with the midlands, of course. They are just there, like the rain, and that's all there is to it. No, the problem is my long-held presumption that I came across as some sort of David Niven at a dinner party class of character, but the reality is unfortunately a lot closer to Richie Kavanagh trying to sell you a pony.

Still though, it was fun to listen to, and I hope this is too, the latest Golden Hour. Don't forget to hit the heart/follow/like yoke so you won't miss any stone cold crucial updates.
