New trailer and poster for upcoming Bob Marley biopic released
"Based on a true story..."
A brand-new trailer has been released for Paramount's upcoming Bob Marley biopic, Bob Marley: One Love.
Kingsley Ben-Adir (Barbie, The OA) will star as Bob Marley alongside Lashana Lynch, who plays the singer’s wife Rita Marley.
The trailer begins with Kingsley's Bob Marley playing his iconic 'Redemption Song' on guitar to his family. It then takes us through moments of the iconic musician's song, including his rise to stardom and the failed assassination attempt on his life.
Reinaldo Marcus Green, who directed the Oscar-winning biopic King Richard, will take charge of the biopic.
Marley’s son Ziggy Marley features on the project as a producer. Speaking at CinemaCon earlier this year, the fellow reggae artist said the movie will help fans "deepen their connection to Bob and honour Bob in the right way.”
Bob Marley: One Love is now set to be released in Irish cinemas on 14 February 2023.
