Mary Coughlan announces new album, releases 'Two Breaking Into One'

Mary Coughlan is one of Galway's most storied singer-songwriters. With over 30 years of performing under her belt, Coughlan has released the first single from her forthcoming album Life stories. 'Two Breaking into One' is a gripping song full of betrayal.

“It took me 15 years to feel comfortable with writing this song,” Coughlan said via press statement. The track signals the return of one of the great artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Indeed, in June 2020, Mary’s achievements and immense impact on the culture and arts community in Galway City were recognised by the Mayor, Mike Cubbard, who presented her with a 2020 lifetime achievement award.
