Maria Doyle Kennedy's new album is set for release sometime next year.

As part of her commitment to share a song at the end of every month, Maria Doyle Kennedy released 'Need A Little Luck In This Life' on Friday (October 30).

The fourth release from Doyle Kennedy's forthcoming album, 'Need A Little Luck In This Life' is accompanied by a one and a half minute long meditative video, featuring synchronised swimmers.  "I never know which song will be a) ready for release and b) the right one for where we (collectively) are," says Doyle Kennedy of the release, "but somehow each track has sort of rocked up each month and announced its desire to go forth.

"It’s the end of October, we do need a bit of luck..."
