Late Late Show Line Up Features Jason McAteer and John Aldridge
The line-up for the Late Late Show on Friday, March 29 has been revealed, with two of Liverpool's finest players on the bill.
Liverpool football players Jason McAteer and John Aldridge are slated to lead the Late Late Show line-up this Friday night.
Following an incident last year in which a Liverpool fan named Sean Cox was assaulted before a Champions League fixture at Anfield, the two legendary football players willjoin host Ryan Tubridy ahead of a fundraiser game next month. The match will see Liverpool take on a Republic of Ireland squad to raise money for the Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust.
Also on the show this week is YouTuber and author Riyadh Khalaf who will appear with his parents to speak about growing up as a gay kid in Ireland, and why he hopes that his new book will help young gay people embrace their differences.
Guido Nasi will also be interviewed on The Late Late Show this week. In 1999, Nasi was brutally attacked in Dublin while visiting Ireland for the first time, leaving him with partial sight, and unable to walk or feed himself. Guido will recount what happened on the day of the assault and will speak about why he’s celebrating a new chapter in his life.
Additionally, Ryan will be joined by Colette Byrne, Venetia Quick and John Fitzsimons who will speak on adjusting to life after the death of their partners, and why it’s so important for them to speak about their loss.
This week, there will be music from the ever-brilliant Irish singer and songwriter Damien Dempsey as well as a performance from the stars of The King and I.
The Late Late Show runs on Friday March 29th, at 9.35pm.
