Kevin Smith wants to direct an episode of Supergirl
Suggests crossing the heroine's world with the Flash's
Clerks director Kevin Smith has his sights on a new project.
Smith, who has previously directed an episode of DC's The Flash, voiced his desire to direct episodes of both Arrow and Supergirl.
He noted the possibility to cross the universes of Supergirl and The Flash, suggesting Flash "run in and give [Supergirl] ice cream" in a scene.
Smith is scheduled to direct an episode in the third season of The Flash. Supergirl recently finished its first season on CBS and will switch over to the CW this coming October for a second season. The CW already airs Supergirl's fellow DC shows The Flash and Arrow.
