Éire to Everywhere: Stories Without Borders is a recurring series which invites authors to discuss their work, exploring the facets of Irish emigration.
Also taking place at EPIC: The Irish Emigration Museum is Frontlines: Irish Journalists Abroad, an exhibition celebrating groundbreaking work by Irish journalists across the world.
Running until March 2026, the showcase recognises how Irish journalists have "shaped public opinion and provided an impetus for change" over two centuries. Featured in the exhibition are reporter Des Mullan's work on the Biafra Famine in Nigeria, as well Pulitzer-winning reporting on the Sudan conflict by Declan Walsh, chief Africa correspondent for The New York
Elsewhere, EPIC will be transforming parts of the museum into Santa's Grotto. On the family-friendly journey, each child will receive their own festive passport and boarding pass for Reindeer Airways, and have the chance to write and post their letters to Santa at Santa's Post Office. The experience takes place on selected dates throughout November and December, which can be seen here.
Opened in May 2016, the EPIC museum attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, and is a previous winner of Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction over three consecutive years.
