Kendrick Lamar returns to join Busta Rhymes on 'Look Over Your Shoulder'
The track is from Busta Rhymes' forthcoming album, 'Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God'.
Kendrick Lamar has returned to feature on Busta Rhymes' latest track. 'Look Over Your Shoulder' is taken from Rhymes' highly anticipated new album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, and takes a sample from the Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There'. The album is slated for release on October 30th.
Lamar's last solo project was 2017's DAMN., and the last time he featured as a lead artist on a single was 2018's Black Panther soundtrack hit and Academy Award-nominated song 'All The Stars', which featured SZA. The Black Panther soundtrack, helmed and curated by Lamar, saw the prolific hip-hop artist nominated for seven Grammy Awards.
Most recently, Lamar featured on SiR’s 'Hair Down,' Raphael Saadiq’s 'Rearview,' the Lion King soundtrack song 'NILE,' Dreamville’s 'Under the Sun,' and 2 Chainz’s 'Momma I Hit a Lick.'
Meanwhile, Busta Rhymes' most recent full-length project was 2016's The Return of The Dragon (The Abstract Went on Vacation).
