This Egyptian-born, Belfast-based artist is something of a modern day renaissance woman. In addition to being a singer, songwriter, rapper and DJ, Anuk$a serves as a mentor for young musicians; manages the Northern division of GXRL CODE; and is a driving force in NXGEN Music Group, an NI-located company dedicated to helping urban acts. With one eye on ’90s R&B and hip-hop, and the other firmly fixed on the present, Dena creates effortlessly alluring songs infused with soul and sprinkled with pop sensibilities.
