Graham Norton Abandons Twitter After Sustained Abusive Messages
"I have kind of fallen out of love with Twitter. It's not a happy world so I have left it."
Irish comedian, radio presenter and television host Graham Norton has announced he is quitting Twitter.
The 53-year-old claimed he's sick of reading abusive and hateful comments aimed at him. Norton informed his 1.2 million followers that he's "fallen out of love with Twitter" and that he prefers Facebook.
"I prefer Facebook because I have real friends there who agree with me. But on Twitter, not so much," he said on his BBC Radio 2 show.

"I have kind of fallen out of love with Twitter. It's not a happy world so I have left it."
Norton hasn't posted a personal tweet since June 22, his account has only posted automated links of his Telegraph articles.
