Galaxy Alpha - Tech Review
Interstellar Overdrive
Could this college year mark the end of the iPhone? Samsung hope so, as they launch a metal framed smartphone that could rival the iPhone 6. With elegantly curved corners and 7mm width, this handsome device maintains the flagship Galaxy experience. Sporting 2GB of RAM, Galaxy Alpha can tackle any app or game you throw at it. The 4.7-inch HD display presents 1280 x 720 resolution, which lags behind Galaxy S5.
The 12MP camera is a few notches behind the 16MP S5 too, but an improvement on the 8MP Galaxy S5 Mini. A cheaper price could make up for such shortcomings.
Not many phones include a heart rate monitor, though. This device’s tech keeps an eye on your ticker by linking to Samsung’s S Health app. There’s even a Finger Print scanner, which keeps your device safe and secure… unless you lose a digit.
