Disney plans to build an interactive Star Wars hotel
The new addition to Disney World will be a highly immersive experience for fans of the fantasy franchise.
Florida’s Disney World is planning a Star Wars hotel. The newest addition will be a part of the upcoming Star Wars land — a massive, new component of the Disney park. The hotel is set to be completed by 2019, although construction plans remain unknown.
Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney resorts, announced that the new resort will be “unlike anything that exists today.” The “100-percent immersive” experience will include dressing up in Star Wars garb and interacting with different characters and stories from the films. “The story will touch every single minute of your day,” says Chapek.
