Collection for Dublin Simon Community this Saturday at Pantibar
The organisation collect sweaters, coats and more for Dublin's homeless population.
For years, Dublin has been plagued by a spiralling homeless crisis. Naturally, there was a great outcry when Dublin City Council took down the coats that people left for the homeless population on Ha'penny Bridge in early December.
Dublin Simon Community is an organisation that works to prevent and address homelessness in the city, providing housing, prevention, addiction treatment, emergency response and other targeted interventions.
This Saturday from 3pm to 6pm at Pantibar, Dublin Simon Community will collect warm coats, jumpers, tracksuit pants, shoes, new socks, underwear and winter woollies for the homeless.
So bring what you can, what you don't need and what you can buy even, and drop in!
A day later, on Sunday, December 22, Dublin indietronica act Pursued by Dogs will play a stripped-back show at MVP with all proceeds going to Dublin Simon Community.
