Having been closed for two years – it seemed a lot longer to local foodies! – this gorgeous old bricks ‘n’ beams restaurant has been brought back to life by Danni Barry who was formerly part of the Michelin starred team at EIPIC in Belfast. It’s a real nooks and crannies sort of place, with a roaring fire, candles on the tables and poshed up comfort food favourites like Country Style Pork Terrine, Salt Baked Beetroot and Roast Chicken. There’s accommodation on site for around £95 per couple.
Best Dish: Hake with Hispi Cabbage, Jerusalem Artichokes & Roast Bone Sauce – £19
