Billy Bragg Announces Concerts At Whelans
Billy Bragg will play at Whelans on July 29, 30 and 31.
Billy Bragg has announced he will be bringing his 'One Step Forward. Two Steps Back' tour to Whelans for three different concerts with three different sets.
On July 29, Bragg will be performing his current set, with material ranging across his 35 year career. His second performance will be on July 30, and he will play songs from his punk rock debut Life's A Riot with Spy Vs Spy, its follow-up Brewing Up with Billy Bragg and Talking with the Taxman about Poetry. On July 31, Bragg will be perform songs from his second three albums Workers Playtime, Don't Try This at Home and the back-to-the-basics William Bloke
The singer and activist said the three-day format allows him to play a wider range of music and spend some time in the cities he visits.
Tickets for a single show will be selling for €35.00 and three-day tickets for €92.00. Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster February 9 at 10 a.m.
