Arthur’s Pub
Arthur’s Pub
28 Thomas St, Ushers, Dublin
(01) 402 0914
A Dublin institution, the Arthur’s Pub building has been a hostelry for over 200 years. It is steeped in heritage and history, located as it is beside St. Catherine’s Church on Thomas Street – outside of which the patriot, Robert Emmet, was hung, drawn and quartered in 1803. Nowadays, Arthur’s is famed for its relaxed and cosy interior, where tourists and locals alike can burrow into a snug beside a real turf fire and drink the freshest pint of Guinness in Ireland, or sample some Irish cuisine from their extensive menu. Arthur’s is also widely known for its impeccable jazz heritage: upstairs is the Blues and Jazz Club, where they host top national and international blues and jazz acts 5 nights a week.
