The foursome pencil in a hometown gig in December
It's five long years since The Coronas packed out The Olympia Theatre for six record-breaking nights – and now, following their storming effort at Longitude on Saturday, they've pencilled in a long-awaited return.
“There's no doubt in our minds that our shows in the Olympia have played a huge part in making us the band that we are today," the band said. "Whether it was our first time playing there as an opening act, or our 6 night sold-out run there in 2011, the atmosphere has always amazed and inspired us. We can't wait to get back there this Christmas to try out some brand new material and of course, play some of the songs that got us there."
Danny, Dave, Knoxy and Conor have, of course, sold out 3Arena, as well as the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, so we confidently predict tickets for the December 9 show won't be long reaching hen's teeth status; they're on sale from Thursday, priced at €34.50.
