The Oireachtas Joint Committee has recommended that abortions should be allowed in cases of a risk to a woman's health.
On the issue of the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution, the Committee has voted in favour of making a recommendation to repeal - and not replace - Article 40.3.3 (the Eighth Amendment) from the Constitution.
The committee voted 14 to 6 in favour of the motion, with the chair Catherine Noone abstaining.
More as we get it.
