The headline acts for the three nights of the Hard Working Class Heroes festival have been revealed.
The Jimmy Cake kick things off Friday September 28. Returning after an extended hiatus, the nine-strong ensemble played to a crammed tent performance at Electric Picnic and will also be releasing a new album this year.
The following night it's Sweden's The Concretes, the biggest of this years' 'Scandinavian invasion' acts. The Swedish seven-piece have been going for ten years now and recently released their third album last month on their own Licking Fingers label.
On Sunday night Jape closes the festival with a selection of his melodic, warped and endlessly hummable tunes. A well-respected Irish secret before The Raconteurs started covering his track 'Floating' in their live shows, he releases the Jape Is Grape EP in November and his third album not long after that.

Aside from the headliners, HWCH will as usual provide an eclectic collection of the best emerging Irish bands, who this year will be joined by a selection of Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Norwegian talent.
Apart from the 100 bands playing across the three days, the festival will also offer an international photography exhibition in a dedicated space as well as ‘speed-dating’ mentoring sessions with seasoned industry professionals offering invaluable insights and advice.
