In other news, the video for God Is An Astronaut’s current single, ‘From Dust to the Beyond’ has attracted its an amount of controversy, with MTV refusing to play it before 9pm because of its potentially distressing subject matter. Composed of war footage, the clip features explosions, corpses and an actual execution.
The video, which is available for download on the band’s web site, will be screened in all its gory details on Tower Record’s Plasma screen on October 31. The screenings, which take place between 1pm – 5pm, coincide with the re-release of The End of the Beginning, which hits shelves that day.
