Skibbereen shows will remember the Interference frontman and the artist known as Black
Glen Hansard will be the star turn at a pair of shows to honour the memory of two musicians we sadly lost earlier this year.
August 3 & 4 will see the Town Hall in Skibbereen host shows dedicated to Fergus O'Farrell, the former Interference frontman who passed away aged 48 after a brave battle with muscular dystrophy, and Colin Vearncombe, the musician better known as Black who died of injuries sustained in a car crash.
Fittingly, Hansard will take the stage with DogTailSoup, a collaborative effort of which both Fergus and Colin were a part, during their time in West Cork. Along with Paul Tiernan, Marja Gaynor, Bertrand Galen, Darren McCarthy, John Fitzgerald, James O’Leary, Gareth Carey, Anto Noonan and more, it became a much-loved group from their formation in 2006.
Tickets, priced at €20.00, are on sale now.
