Multiple GRAMMY-winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist Nile Rodgers is coming to Malahide Castle along with his legendary band on Saturday 16 June.
This morning music legend Nile Rodgers revealed to details to his Malahide Castle gig which will be supported by Craig David and Soul II Soul. Tickets to this one off gig go on sale this Friday 16 February at 9am and have a price starting at €49.90 including booking fee.
Nile Rodgers has gained his highly respected status nay constantly traversing new musical terrain and successfully expanding and developing the boundaries of popular music. As the co-founder of CHIC, Rodger pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like "Le Freak," ignited the flame of hip-hop with "Good Times."
Rodger solidified his spot on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2017) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame (2016) with his consistent musical work which transcends all style of music across every generation. His work with CHIC Organisation and his productions for artists like David Bowie, Diana Ross and Madonna have sold over 300 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide while his innovative, trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure and Sam Smith reflect the vanguard of contemporary music.
With the come back of Craig David being one of the most talked about of 2017 and Soul II Soul having sold over 10 million albums worldwide, the supporting acts are sure to bring their fair share of musical delight to the table too.
