Kill It Kid kick off September tour in Dublin
The British blues rock outfit will rock The Academy 2 on September 10, before heading over the border to Auntie Annie’s Belfast on September 11.
The tour comes right ahead of the release of their second album Feet Fall Heavy, a follow up to 2009’s self-titled debut.
Feet Fall Heavy is a much rougher and darker album than their debut, typified by the record’s lead single ‘Pray On Me’, with similarities to The Black Keys and The Dead Weather.
Since their first release, they have built a burgeoning reutation. Kill It Kid were one of the most talked about acts at this year’s SXSW where they even spent time discussing old blues masters with Jack White and they also got to share a stage with their hero Bob Dylan at the Hop Farm Festival.
Tickets are available form Ticketmaster for €12.50 including booking fee.
