Gemma Hayes reveals new album details
Gemma Hayes has given us a sneak peek at her new album, with cover artwork and a full tracklisting.
hotpress.com is delighted to bring you this first peek at the cover artwork for the new Gemma Hayes album, The Hollow Of Morning, which hits the racks here on May 2.
“I stole the title from a poem by Samuel Menashe,” Hayes confesses. “It refers to that time, just before you fully wake, when everything is as it should be and you’re at peace. I made it with my dear friend David Odlum. He co-produced and engineered it with such dedication and love. Joe Chester sang and played some guitar on it and Kevin Shields played some guitar too, which seriously blew my mind! Karl Odlum and Paul Noonan also contributed their amazing talents.”
Along with lead single ‘Out Of Our Hands’, it features ‘This Is What We Do’, ‘January 14th’, ‘Home’, ‘In Over My Head’, ‘Chasing Dragons’, ‘Don’t Forget’, ‘Sad Ol’ Song’, ‘At Constant Speed’ and ‘Under A Canopy’.
In case you’re wondering, we’ve heard it and it’s great.
