Top artists descend on Dingle for Other Voices
Bronagh Gallagher, Autamata, The Radio and The Divine Comedy are among the artists that will be performing as part of RTE's new season of Other Voices, Songs From A Room
Dingle becomes party spot central this month as some of Ireland's leading musical lights descend on St. James' Church for the third series of Other Voices, Songs From A Room.
The live action, which is being filmed by RTE2 for early 2005 broadcast, stacks up as follows:
Friday December 3 – Saso & Declan O'Rourke
Saturday 4 – Clive Barnes, Sony Condell & The Cowboy Junkies
Sunday 5 – Fionn Regan, Lee Valley String Band & American Music Club
Monday 6 – Bronagh Gallagher, Emiliana Torrini & Eddi Reader
Tuesday 7 – Sack, The Devlins & The Divine Comedy
Wednesday 8 – The Future Kings Of Spain & Perry Blake
Saturday 11 – Alphastates, Ben Christopher & Donal Lunny and Roisin Elsafty
Saturday 12 – Iain Archer, Colin McIntyre & Tom Baxter
Monday 13 – The Radio, Republic Of Loose & Ocean Colour Scene
Tuesday 14 – The Waiting Room & Kathleen Edwards
Wednesday 15 – Autamata & Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer
Thursday 16 – Joe Chester, Cathy Davey & The Thrills
Friday 17 – The Chalets, Angela McCluskey & Steve Earle
All shows start at 8pm with tickets priced €20 on sale from The Dingle Record Shop and the nearby Music House. Capacity is limited to just 70, so no dillying or indeed dallying.
