The architect
The Architect sees Cari Lekebusch take influence from deep techno, house, electro and song writing skills that would put most ‘musicians’ to shame.
Swedish producer Cari Lekebusch is best known for his hard-edged techno, but The Architect sees him take influence from deep techno, house, electro and song writing skills that would put most ‘musicians’ to shame. The album’s opening salvo, including the title track, ‘Black & White’, ‘Behold’ and ‘Incoming Message’ are musical, dubby grooves, with lush strings and chords combined with pumping electronic basslines. MC Aaron Phiri appears on ‘True Blue’ and ‘Electro Magnetic’, combining his brash NY tones with studied electronic cool, while Stockholm singer Krister provides the album highlights, lending his tortured, smoky vocals to ‘Shaded’ and ‘For Her’, two uniquely atmospheric electronic pop moments.
