Watch: New Trailer For Blade Runner 2049
Ryan Gosling faces off against a muscle bound Dave Bautista in the new footage
Th new trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner is here and no surprises for guessing how stunning it looks.
Whether or not the upcoming sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic will be best blockbuster of the year is unclear but chances are it will be the best looking, if the new trailer is anything to go by. The cinematographer this time round is the legendary Roger Deakins and the images spewed across the screen are worthy of the quality he is so often hailed for.
This time out the world of future LA looks like and even more hopeless dystopia the it did before. What we see is partly ruinous, partly neon-lit city scape. Ryan Gosling stars as K, a young detective who's following breadcumps that will lead him to Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) the protagonist of the first film.
The new trailer also shows a spiky interaction between K and what looks to be a burly replicant played by former wrestler Dave Bautista. Jared Leto also stars as the visionary who presumably and metaphorically flies too close to the sun.
Blade Runner 2049 is out October 6, 2107
