Chic drummer Ralph Rolle returns to Dublin on February 22
If it's funky beats and seriously good rock 'n' soul yarns you're after, look no further...
Having previously blown us away at Electric Picnic and Metropolis, Chic sticksman Ralph Rolle returns to Dublin on February 22 for a drum masterclass, Q+A and jam session in The Grand Social. Tickets are a snip at €15.
A former member of the legendary Apollo Theatre house band, Ralph’s gig and session CV also includes Paul Simon, Prince, Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Elvis Costello and D’Angelo.
A Bronx native who witnessed the birth of hip hop – Afrika Bambaataa lived a floor up from him – Mr. Rolle is a fantastic storyteller, bakes an exceedingly mean cookie and will blow you away with his rockin’ version of ‘Let’s Dance’.
