In a statement on his upcoming project, the global rap icon said that his work on Austin had created some of the most challenging and rewarding music he has produced, with Post Malone admitting that he was "trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff".
“I played guitar on every song on the record, and it was a really, really fun experience. I’m super, super excited to share it with you."
Earlier this week, Post Malone performed his final shows in Manchester as the last gigs in the Ireland and UK leg of his European 'Twelve Carat Tour'. The rapper is due to play in Amsterdam next.
Post Malone is also set to begin performing across North America for the summer for his 'If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying' tour. In a statement promoting the American dates, Post said “Help me put a baby through college and come on out.
"Some cool new production, new songs, and a very very handsome man up on stage. Sending love to you and yours.”
