"Bloom Baby Bloom", Cyprus Avenue, Cork City, was rocked to the rafters last night as English rock band Wolf Alice played the second of three Irish gigs to coincide with the release of their new single 'Bloom Baby Bloom' and whet the appetite for their forthcoming new album The Clearing. 'Bloom Baby Bloom' kicked off the gig with Ellie Rowsell's commanding vocals and huge stage presence all backed up by Joff Oddie on lead guitar, Theo Ellis bass guitar, Joel Amey on drums and Ryan Malcolm on keyboards, synthesizers, percussion, backing vocals. The North London outfit gave their Leeside fans a showcase of their favourite hits including Safe From Heartbreak, How Can I Make It OK, ans Lipstick. The encore included Moan Lisa Smiles and Giant Peach ending the night on a high and the perfect prelude to the new album release in August.
