WATCH: Kingfishr release new song and video starring Irish actor Anthony Boyle

Kingfishr have released a powerful new single, 'The Blade', which is accompanied by a video shot on the Donegal/Leitim border starring Anthony Boyle, the West Belfast actor who's appeared in such major productions as Derry Girls, Say Nothing, Masters Of The Air, Manhunt, Shardlake and The House Of Guinness.

"'The Blade' is probably as heavy a tune as we’re ever likely to release,” the band reflect. “It’s not something we ever expected to be writing about given the seriousness of it all. The song just kind of happened and we feel it deserves to see the light of day.”
