WATCH: Imelda May debuts new spoken word track, 'GBH'
There's some tasty coloured vinyl to be had!
Imelda May continues to whet appetites for the June 12 release of her poetry EP, Slip Of The Tongue, with 'Grievous Battery Harm'.
Her latest extremely dexterous wordplay "is the story of a woman who, through life’s sometimes tedious repetitiveness and passion's dampened flame, discovers the highs and joys of self-pleasure. Sadness and humour are often the best companions."
While very much of its place - the Liberties - Imelda's delivery also puts us in mind of Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cooper Clarke.
