WATCH: Ailsha Davey puts a smile on our face with her 'Quarantine' single + video
Cathy's sister calls out her own gobeshitery on a song designed for the Covid-19 times
We're delighted to bring you this first look at the video for 'Quarantine', the deliciously wry debut single from Ailsha Davey who just happens to be Cathy's sister.
It features PDA on backing vocals, was mastered by Aisling Jarvis and hits digital platforms on May 1.
We won't spoil all the lyrical surprises but with couplets like, "I don't remember the last friend I saw/ I was far too consumed by stupid worrying thoughts/ About things that don't matter/ I just thought they did/ And now I see I was a gobshite so full of fucking shit..." it will strike a chord with many.
A Dublin-based singer-songwriter specialising in cinematic soundtrack composition, she reminds us in a very good way of Lily Allen and will hopefully be bringing us more tunes shortly.
