English folk band The Unthanks brought their current Irish tour to a close on Friday night at the Theatre Royal Waterford. Taking in eight shows in nine days while traveling the length and breathe of the Country the Déise audience were treated to an evening of serenity as Rachel Unthank and her sister Becky showcased their eclectic approach to traditional English folk, particularly Northumbrian folk music. Accompanying the two sisters were Adrian McNally on piano, Niopha Keegan playing violin and singing, and multi-instrumentalist Chris Price was on guitar and double bass.
