The Tumbling Paddies at Winterval Waterford Big Top (Photos)

The Tumbling Paddies kicked off the Winterval Big Top LIVE music events with a sensational set in the Marquee at Browns Lane, Waterford City last night. The new music feature for Ireland's biggest Christmas Festival coincides as Waterford plays host to being the European City of Christmas 2024. The six-piece folk and ballad group with lead singer Gareth Maguire who also plays tin whistle and flute. Lee Jones on guitar, John Mc Cann on drums, Ciaran Owens on banjo and guitar, Martin Treacy on the accordion, and the energitic Oisin McManus on Keyboard from Co. Fermanagh whipped up a storm with their energy, pop, rock classics, their own songs including the recent release 'The Single Life', and a sprinkling of Christmas hits. Winterval Big Top LIVE continues this weekend with Mick Flannery on Friday night and Saturday night hip hop and electronic dance group Stereo MCs with special guests dance-rock quintet EMF.
