The Frames at Live at the Marquee (Photos)

Quality only gets better with age and so it was on Friday night as legendary band The Frames rocked Lee side at Live at the Marquee. Headed as usual by Glen Hansard, the legendary Dublin band opened the second weekend of entertainment on the Cork marina in the glorious summer sunshine with a trip down memory lane of the band's 30-year musical catalogue. “It’s great to be back in the Marquee,” said Hansard, “We tried to move the stage outside in the sun for you but it’s not possible I’m afraid so let’s get the party going in HERE.”

Opening the night was Ye Vagabonds. The duo consisting of Dublin-based brothers Diarmuid and Brían Mac Gloinn who recently sold out two nights at Vicar Street were joined by a full band for their Live at the Marquee debut.
