Academy Award winner Steve McQueen received the prestigious Volta Award for his lifetime achievement from President Michael D. Higgins last night. The Q&A and red carpet took place at The Complex in Dublin as part of the Dublin International Film Festival program, where the 'Shame' and '12 Years A Slave' director was joined by actor and screenwriter Mark O’Halloran, actor Liam Cunningham, festival director Gráinne Humphreys and DIFF chairperson Trish Long.
