Qween Live at the Docklands (Photos)
Qween brings Bohemian Rhapsody LIVE at the Docklands! Irish Queen tribute band, Qween, Brian Keville (as Freddie Mercury), Thomas Brunkard (as Brian May), Graham Sheridan (as Roger Taylor), Conall McMahon (as John Deacon), James McGeehan (as Spike Edney), were joined by the Dublin Gospel Choir, a collaboration that has become a key part of their live show for an extravaganza of the legendary London 70s band. The band's commitment to authenticity was notable, from using period-correct guitar equipment, including a replica of a sixpence coin as a guitar pick, to recreating iconic stage costumes. Lead singer Brian Keville carries on that authenticity and dedication that embody Freddie Mercury.
The Shannon waterfront show performance was a theatrical rock show designed to transport the audience back in time to a classic Queen concert. The inclusion of the Dublin Gospel Choir elevated the performance, blending Queen's lush studio arrangements with the raw energy of a live band, showcasing the classic hits. "Radio Ga Ga", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", "A Kind of Magic", "Under Pressure", "Killer Queen" all rang out in the Docklands Marquee.
